L’HEURE BLEUE • PRIVATE DINING

Thank you for considering L’Heure Bleue, the private dining room at Bluehour. L’Heure Bleue was created by owner Bruce Carey as an intimate, modern space to provide the food and service excellence of Bluehour. With exposed wood beams in our landmark building, the “cellar” dining room features a wall of 2500 backlit wine bottles that provide a warm glow to our elegant venue.

L’Heure Bleue is available seven days a week and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner parties. Suitable for small or large occasions, the room can be easily configured to suit your particular needs. L’Heure Bleue can accommodate up to 65 persons seated and 100 persons for a standing cocktail style reception. Some features of the room include: full bar service, customized specialty cocktails, and microphone and audio capability. Our main dining room is also available for event rental- please contact us for pricing and availability.

THE MENU

Our Chef has created original menus for our private space to feature his Mediterranean and Asian influenced, contemporary American cuisine. The following pages include sample menus, though all items are subject to market availability.

THE AMENITIES

Bluehour works exclusively with Sammy’s Flowers in Northwest Portland. We provide small seasonal centerpieces for all events, and can easily coordinate the delivery of unique arrangements. The sound system in the private dining room is compatible with iPods, MP3 players, and CD’s. DJ services can be arranged through the resident DJ at our sister restaurant, Saucebox.

For Audio/ Visual presentations we have an InFocus LCD Projector and wireless microphone available for rent. Our private room has a built in screen which is complimentary. We can always arrange for the rental of additional AV equipment.

For the convenience of our evening events, valet service can be provided to your group for a fee of $6.00 per car. We are also surrounded by several pay parking lots, as well as street parking all around the neighborhood.

We do not charge a room fee for L’Heure Bleue, however a food and beverage minimum, excluding gratuity and any additional rental or floral fees, is required for all private events.
